Back to Work Today!

Well, in a few minutes Dexter will wake up and want his breakfast, and to go outside for his pee. That is one of our exciting morning rituals. And then, it will be time for me to get ready to go to work. Ah, but I did have a good and productive week off.

While I did not get done the BIG spring cleaning that I had wanted to do (like washing baseboards and windows and all that), I did achieve quite a lot:

• got my taxes done (and I owe $600 bucks, dammit)
• shopped at Michaels for yarn
• bought a car
• met friends for lunch and brunch
• changed the batteries in our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• got my hair cut (finally)
• got my nails done (a real treat)
• went shopping at Village des Valeurs on half-price day
• oh, yeah, and did I mention, I bought a car??

Now, I DO want to do a couple of good posts, and ones that are actually relevant to the general cooking public, but that will have to come a little later as I do have to get ready for work!
