Monday Off

After a week and a half of work, straight through, I am off today as I did not get a morning phone call.

This means that no, I will not get paid since I'm not working and of course, I would have worked had I been called. However, I am appreciative of the un-planned day off.

It's a really rainy day today, and chilly at only 8 degrees above freezing (Celsius). So I won't be doing the yard work that I delayed yesterday. But I think I will do some cleaning indoors - dusting, sweeping, mopping. Maybe even wash the carpet downstairs to get rid of the dog-smell. Not that Dexter is a particularly smelly dog, but he IS a dog, and so, therefore....

So today's plan:

• Relax a bit and crochet
• Do some cleaning
• Make some lentil soup??
• Clean the basement living area and bathroom

That, I think, is a manageable list.

And my "Done List" - keeping in mind it is only 7:55 a.m.?

• Planned and posted a Meetup hike for Sunday (and 7 have already signed up!)
