Simply Perfect Banana Bread

Today's little luxury? Home-made banana bread!

I've used my mother's recipe in the past, but didn't want to use lard this time, so I found a recipe that's identical except it uses butter instead of lard. Just like mom's recipe, this is super easy and super good.

Use 1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
4 large bananas
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of vanilla

See the recipe here: http://www.food.com/recipe/best-banana-bread-2886

To get the bananas nicely mushed, I used a potato masher!

This recipe yields one loaf of bread, but I used mini bread pans, so I got three little loaves. I like the little loaves - I just think they are so cute! :)
