Despite the hot heat of summer, I've been crocheting the day away just like normal (with a few hours out for hiking and job hunting, of course!).
Anyway, a few months ago, I made a St. Paddy's day set for an expected baby. See that project here! My aunt, Sharon, said that her son absolutely love my last Irish-inspired outfit and blanket for a newborn baby, so she asked that I make another one to welcome her son's new girl, expected in November. Of course, I couldn't resist, but I did have to mix it up a bit and do something different.
I found the blanket pattern for sale on Etsy, here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/66141352/shamrock-afghan-crochet-pdf-pattern-st?source=aw&awc=6220_1472757746_9316df279a97df3876a5d2fb311d80ec&utm_source=affiliate_window&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=us_location_buyer&utm_content=271445
It was really easy to do, once you got the first square done. It's not super-well written (no stitch count, not the clearest language), but you can figure it out by feel once you get started. Anyway, I LOVED the way it turned out.
The sweater pattern I bought here, on Ravelry. It was really well-written, easy to follow, and a fun project!
The hat patterns - I just sort of surfed the net and cobbled these together!
