Since I’ve been living in the Outaouais (Canada’s Capital Region!) for two years, I thought it was high time that I finally tracked down the elusive natural spring in nearby Wakefield to syphon some water.
I followed a friend who showed me exactly where to find the spring. And, well, it’s not all that hidden at all, and, in fact, I must have driven past it many times whenever I went on a photo shoot or a walk in the scenic little town. Just take route 105, turn right (through the round-about) onto Chemin Valley, and the spring will be immediately on your right. See my map below.
I only brought a small 2 litre bottle with me, but my friend donated a 4 litre bottle, and I’ve been happily drinking fresh, natural water all day long!
Here’s what the spring looks like, so you’ll know it when you see it.
