We started from the P7 parking lot, on Chemin Kingsmere, taking trail #30, then going left and taking trail #1 as far as the Shilly Shally Shelter.
This trail has less character than my preferred trails – as in, it is a wide gravel road, easy to walk 3 abreast (or more). It’s a popular route for mountain bikers, too, so if you ride, you might want to try it out. I did,and it was a real workout on my single-speed
But I digress. This is a nice trail, wide and easy to walk along, but very steep in parts, especially in the beginning; it then becomes more rolling hills once you turn onto trail #1. The total distance, out and back, was about 10km, and it took about 2.5 hours leisurely walking.
